The S-M8 shell has been designed with performance in mind, with a design that identifies the helmet’s silhouette and sculpted surface as unmistakably “Alpinestars”.

-Cross style

- Composite fiber shell: Unidirectional carbon composite with aramid layer that provides significant radial strength around the shell, avoiding compression but allowing controlled deflection to reduce transmitted impact energy and provide critical penetration protection. Energy is spread more widely and better absorbed by the EPS liner for highly effective impact protection.

-Performance on linear and oblique impacts far superior to current helmet regulations.

· The helmet is produced with shells of different sizes depending on the proposed size and thus allows for a perfect proportion between the volume of the helmet and the size of the motorcyclist, maintaining the level of protection and safety unchanged.

-Made of multi-density EPS polymers, the impact absorbing layer determines an internal profile of the helmet that absorbs the impact forces dissipated by the external shell and offers a shape that guarantees a snug and comfortable fit.

- Equipped with a patented system to calibrate the helmet exactly to the rider's preferences in terms of height and angle on the head.

- Peak attached to the helmet shell with a patented system that will allow easy release in the event of an accident

- Flared base to provide a relief section, with the lower profile raised so as not to touch the collarbone.

- The chin guard is made of polypropylene which, by allowing a certain lateral flexion angle, further improves impact protection on the clavicle.

- Post-impact protective mechanisms with Multi-Directional Impact Protection System: MIPS. Designed to reduce rotational energies that impact the helmet causing the transmission of harmful rotating forces through the application of a slippery layer between the padding layer and the multi-density impact-absorbing polymer shell

-Emergency Release System (ERS): The cheek pads can be quickly and safely released, with the helmet still on the rider's head, to facilitate helmet removal by medical and support personnel.

- Designed to allow the insertion of an 'Eject' inflation system into the shell, in the crown area, which allows for emergency removal of the helmet without placing any load on the spine.

- Chin-Strap: Wider than required by certification (26mm) for greater comfort, made of polymer fabric to be soft and offer greater security on the double ring.

- Weight 1300g for size Medium (ECE).

- Excellent ventilation system that determines a precise flow in the helmet above and around the rider's head, improving comfort and reducing thermal stress in extreme conditions. The visor design and the structure of the interior are also an integral part of the ventilation system, being studied to channel the air and concentrate the flow in the shell.

- Removable, washable interior made from antibacterial Cool-Max for long-lasting freshness and quick drying between track sessions.

- Additional cheek plates with +5mm thickness for a tighter fit available separately.
